We invite you to join El Museo Latino on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the museum with our annual Cinco de Mayo Almuerzo (Lunch). This annual fundraiser supports our youth visual and performing arts programs. The lunch will take place at El Museo Latino located at 4701 South 25 Street (corner of 25th and L Streets) Wednesday, May 2, 2018, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Join us as we welcome Dr. Roberto Lunagómez Reyes to Omaha. Dr. Lunagómez Reyes is Curator of the Olmec Collection at the Museum of Antropology in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.

This event provides scholarship support that makes it possible for many young persons to participate in museum programs in the visual and performing arts. Proceeds from this Almuerzo will help El Museo Latino continue to reach Latino and non-Latino youth, who come from a variety of economic backgrounds, engage with professionals to learn about the history, tradition and culture of Latin America and inspire their creativity.
