COCO - Free Outdoor Screening

El Museo Latino and Film Streams are pleased to announce a free, collaborative outdoor screening of COCO at El Museo Latino on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

On Wednesday, July 25th, El Museo Latino and Film Streams will host a free outdoor screening of the film COCO. In this 2017 film, COCO is the story of a young boy who wants to be a musician and somehow finds himself in the land of the dead. Directed by Lee Unrich and veteran Pixar animator Adrian Molina, COCO draws heavily on Mexican folklore and tradition of Day of the Dead. COCO took home Oscars earlier this year for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song.

- The festivities are set to take place in the courtyard of El Museo Latino, 4701 South 25th Street, (corner of 25th and L Street).
- Lawn seating in the courtyard begins at 7:00 pm.
- Food trucks will be available on 25th Street.
- The movie will begin at sundown.
